When I read on blogs that there was a new Connolly, I trampled. And then, joy and happiness, it was available in my library!
This story is a treat. No comparison with Book of Lost Things in terms of atmosphere. Here it goes incredible adventures, pathos and drama (just imagine the hell that landed on Earth, anyway) but everyone laughs and smiles and even laughs it frankly.
Samuel is a small boy a little annoying in advance for his age, accompanied by his dachshund, Boswell. He asks questions that destabilize adults. As "How angels can dance on a pinhead. "And then there is more of a curious and stubborn and brave. So, when he realized that his neighbors, Abernathy, fricotent with demons he tries to prevent adults. But you know, adults do not react before the Apocalypse. And yet, even then, they are still not able to believe you too.
short, c 'is a story about the end of the world, demons, particle accelerator, by Lewis Carroll. And he must hasten to read to escape the rainy gloom! The footnotes are particularly pages tasty, you'd be wrong to deprive yourself!
